Business Manager/Bursar Vacancy
The Sathya Sai Primary School was established in March 1997 with the vision of producing a model school, which would develop a curriculum and school culture based on Human Values. The school uses the NSW Board of Studies curriculum guidelines and integrates the mainstream curriculum with Human Values. The Sai School functions on the grants provided by State and Federal Governments. It is a tuition free school.
The School is a K - 6 Primary school and the current enrolment is just over 100 pupils. The building program to expand the facilities to accommodate 160 pupils was completed towards the end of 2009 and the Sai School is looking forward to an era of growth with an increase in student numbers.
The Board of Directors of the school have reviewed the current administrative structure of the school and intends expanding the position of the bursar to include the function of a business manager.
Sathya Sai Primary School is seeking to appoint a Business Manager/Bursar to manage, to advise and oversee the financial, administrative and human resource functions of the School. The Business Manager/Bursar will be part of the senior management team of the school and contribute positively towards its success. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons with accounting/finance background for this position at the Sathya Sai Primary School in Murwillumbah, Northern New South Wales who when appointed will commence duties soon thereafter.
This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to influence and further develop excellent financial and management skills across our School administration. It will also provide the opportunity to join a team of dedicated staff and volunteers in providing value based education at the Sai School. The School when established as the model school will demonstrate to other schools in Australia the benefits of integrating human values into the State School's Curriculum.
The person appointed need to perform the function of the Business Manager/Bursar from the school premises at 9 Nullum Street, Murwillumbah. It is located in the heart of a world heritage environmental area and affords the prospect of living in a small community while having easy access to major shopping centres and airport only an hour away in Brisbane.
