Founder of Education in Human Values

The founder of the Sathya Sai Primary School is Sri Sathya Sai Baba, whose philosophy of education has inspired the founding of many similar schools in Africa, Asia, Canada, Europe, South America and Fiji. His educational philosophy is based on the view that a balanced education gives importance not only to academic success, but also to the development of character. Sathya Sai Baba teaches that the goal, the end of Education is Character.
Sathya Sai Baba's educational program, called Education in Human Values (EHV), aims at developing each child's highest potential through the inculcation of the universal values of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Non-Violence.
Sathya Sai Baba is an educator and spiritual leader who lives in Puttaparthi, nearby Bangalore, in South India. He was born on 23rd November 1926. He has set up many schools, colleges, universities and hospitals throughout India.
