Founder of Education in Human Values
Inaugurated in March, 1997, the school is a private primary school governed by the Institute of Sathya Sai Education of Australia, which is based in Canberra under the directorship of Dr. Pal Dhall. The school is open to all students regardless of socio-economic status, ethnic origin or religion.
The founder of the school is Sri Sathya Sai Baba, whose philosophy of education has inspired the founding of similar schools in Africa, Asia, Canada, Europe, South America and Fiji. His educational philosophy is based on the view that a balanced education gives importance not only to academic success, but also to the development of character.
His educational program, called Education in Human Values (EHV), aims at developing each child's highest potential through the inculcation of the universal values ofTmth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Non-Violence.
Sathya Sai Baba is an educator and spiritual leader who lives in Puttaparthi, near Bangalore in India. He was born on 23rd November 1926. He has set up many schools, colleges, universities and hospitals in India.
